Starving Tuesday.....

So, I woke up at 7:15 this morning, got dressed, made Vaeh's lunch and breakfast, and then scarfed down a quick vanilla and cranberry granola yogourt. Now.... I AM STARVING!!!! My tummy is growling. I am sure that my co-workers at the Intel can hear it echoing through the newsroom. I have no snacks with me, and lunch is another hour or so away. What the heck am I going to do? Pre-T.J.shrinks I would have run out the door to Timmies and grabbed a snack and a coffee. Now, I just sit here gurgling, growling, groaning.

What lesson have I learned? The importance of an emergency banana!!!

  1. hey tiff! what I started doing was: (if you can eat oatmeal then this will work for you).
    In the morning eat 3/4 c of oatmeal ( i eat steelcut) with 1 banana. the banana will get your metabolism going first thing. eating every 2 1/5 hours it will keep everything moving. great snacks:apples,oranges,almonds,tomato

  2. Hey Sarah! Thanks so much for this tip... I have been thinking about that for sometime as I love oatmeal. I also have a great musli recipe I am going to post in the next week or so. I plan on trying that in the next couple of days,once I get to the store for supplies, so I will keep you posted. Thanks again!! xoxox

  3. hey, well im still at 19 pounds but i think i have gained a bit of muscle. its been hard the last week or so, i have slightly fallen of my own wagon a bit too. its ok tho you need to treat yourself everynow and again. oxox

  4. Congrats Sarah! Nineteen pounds is great and we all hit a bump in the road every now and again... I just feel like my bump was more like a cliff I drove off of. I have been off here for a couple of days, working cray hours, but will start blogging again tonight.... but I have been terrible! I am desperate to lose a bit before summer.
